Frying is made easy if you have a FRYMASTER and there is tons of delicious foods you can cook! Southern cooking is often fried and I have tons of ideas that you could put on your fryer!
Firstly, you will have to pick the foods you want to fry and for example you could choose;
Pickles -For- Fried Pickles
Eggplant -For- Fried Eggplant
Okra -For- Deep Fried Okra
Green/Red Tomatoes -For- Fried Tomatoes
Onion Rings -For- Deep Fried Onion Rings
French Fries -For- Deep Fried French Fries
Potato Wedge -For- Fried Potato Wedge
Bacon -For- Deep Fried Bacon
Calamari -For- Fried Calamari
Frog Legs -For- Southern Frog Legs
Chicken Legs/Wings -For- Mock Kentucky Fried Chicken
Steak -For- Fried Steak
Fish -For- Fried Fish (cracker crumbs tastes delicious)
Shrimp -For Fried Southern Shrimp
Oreos -For- Fried Oreos
Donuts -For- Deep Fried donuts
Pineapples -For- Fried Pineapples
Chose Your Choice of Breading
You can use the tradition finely diced bread crumbs or you could try finely diced cracker crumbs as well, it tastes delicious!
Hint: Put crackers into a zip lock bag and throw around the bag around until crackers are finely diced.
Ingredients depending on Choice;
1 Big Mixing bowl
About a Cup – 2 Cups of Bread crumbs or Cracker crumbs
Depending on the quantity of food 1-2 cups of Milk
Depending on the quantity of food 1/2 cup of Flour
Salt and Pepper to taste
Make sure to coat breading/cracker crumbs enough and as much as you would like depending on your taste and then place into hot fryer at 375 Degrees until food is brown. After place on paper towel or rag, so, that the fat is able to seep through, your fried food is ready to enjoy!
